You touched on a lot of good points. It's very cool to see the subtle references to the other side, with knowing what we know now. There's also Peter's coin from "another place" that September pointed out. Peter swearing the GI Joe figure's scar was on the other side is sort of odd, since he really doesn't claim to remember much from those years. I kinda wish he'd make more statements like that, from time to time.

I've already started the next season myself, but I'm not very far along. To all of those that might care, a major character from Continuum makes an appearance pretty early on in Season 2. I didn't realize that until now

well one of the biggest hints that there is another side and another peter that you won't get on the first watch through is when Walter is remembering peters past and something that would seem to be pretty important, and peter says your right I don't remember any of it. Clearly Walter is blending his peter with Walternates peter.

Now before episode 20 the Finale was there any clear signs of a alternate universe? Or was the truck from the other side the first sign of it? I know charlie couldn't make sense of it but it always seems that charlie didn't really believe anything about fringe science.

On a slighly unrelated note, this final episode really cleared up my september is kidna the puppet master of this entire story. Nina showed up at broyels house and said you remember the last time what happened when he started showing up. So far every time I've done where's the observer it has looked like september. The fact that September is helping Walter to prevent DRJ from crossing sides I think gives credence to my theory. I know September will largely stay in the background for the next couple of seasons but we will find out little more by little more.

But here is my theory. The entire reason that September got involved with our timeline is to help Walter bring the child observer to the future to stop the observers all together. So September is making sure that this happens that is why he is involved so much in this show behind the scenes so to speak.

The original plan wasn't to help Walter do that...he was the backup plan. September was the one that was going to do this.

I don't think there was anything concrete, just musings from ZFT for example, and maybe an offhand comment here and there. And you're right, Charlie never did really buy into much of what the Fringe team was investigating, not even after bing attacked by that creature thing.

Well yeah...September, for whatever reason, got attached to this timeline and its people (like saving younr Peter from drowning, for example) and tried to save it from collapsing, right? he's always been around observing, and interfering, and that's what gets him into trouble with the other Observers later in the series, the fact that he dabbled when he shouldn't have, right?
