You know what? When(IF) Google manages to make one of these contraptions successfully drive itself--ALL BY ITSELF--from Newark to Queens during a snow storm at night, THEN I'll be impressed.

There was a great thread on this last week or two. I think this has potential to be the greatest invention in the past decade. The benefits are outrageously cool and the productivity and lifestyle enhancements are very real.

The car would probably make the correct decision to not drive at all, but I think they can probably make that trip already. Just very slowly.
And how can you not already be impressed by what they can do? Is it not impressive that they already drive better than 99% of the people on the road?
