He's a decent hitting coach, but is he really the best that LSU can get? LSU baseball should never settle for anything but the best, if Javi is that guy then so be it.

Probably...we always want someone fired.
For the last 3 yrs our hitting ranked 3rd, 2nd, and 4th in the SEC. Our pitching ranked 2nd, 2nd, and 3rd.
Doesn't seem bad enough for anyone to get their panties in a wad over, but each to our own.

Does anyone think the "swing first and determine ball or strike later" batting approach philosophy (which lends itself to the extremes of streakiness - both cold and hot) is not a problem?
