If you have the cash you can go buy whatever damn boat you want no experience required. I do not agree with the boater license as that does not allow one to really get any watercraft experience till they are older. Hell i had my first outboard powered boat at 9 yrs old. That said i also do not think you should be able to get a DUI while on the water. If there isn't a license required how can it transfer to your truck? Also these aren't state highways these bayous weren't man made. Making speed restrictions on waterways isn't as simple as on the highway. All boats do not get on plane at the same speed and their wake varies greatly by displacement. Best they can do is no wake zones but that shouldn't mean every damn canal with a camp. Boat ramps yes but just because you build a camp that doesn't entitle you to a no wake zone buy some damn fenders. /rant
