Im not sure about Peterson, but since Shaw coaches at Stanford and its a private school, they dont release his full salary to the public. So nobody really knows how much Shaw makes. Ive seen it from anywhere from $2.5m to $4m per year, not including bonuses. If i had to guess what he makes, i think it would be between $4m-$5m. Remember, UT wanted Shaw and so does the NFL. Hes making enough $$$ to not go to those other places.

Since Shaw is the head coach at a private school, Stanford, hes not a state employee and therefore they dont have to reveal his salary to the public.
