re: Anyone here ever had a muscle biopsy?

After reading on it, for an incision, they use sharp scissors to remove the muscles, however it appears that a local anesthetic is applied. It said mild discomfort will be felt during it. It didn't mention recovery for an incision biopsy. I guess recovery depends on which muscle and how much muscle. Which muscle is it from and why if you don't mind me asking
