I don't need to read that or listen to anything to know that this country is obsessed with racism. There is racism, and that's terrible, but there's also a bit of overkill on totally obsessing over every racial incident. Easy for me to say because I'm of pure, beautiful, privileged whiteness, but anybody with eyes can see it.

I think if people really wanna be post racial (and I think a good portion of the public is tired of it and want to move on), we need to stop with this non-sense such as race analysis on our "news" networks, or people like Maddow trying to break down racist "code." It's embarrassing.
