Jurgen's problem is that people already thought he had perceived biases toward certain players and that he has pulled this power trip crap before with Germany and Ballack.
Even if it is the right decision his past and perceptions some people have about him make it seem like there could be more to it than simply Donovan not being the best option.

I get that. I'm just admitting that I will assume the best, for now. I could be totally wrong and this is an ego trip, or it could be that JK is doing what he genuinely thinks is best for the team.
I will believe the latter. I refuse to watch a World Cup pessimistically.
