He's generally correct and I agree that the article should be useful for some people, especially young people who have not "figured it out" yet.

It can really be boiled down to: "A person is judged by his actions, not his words or his beliefs." And then there's a little psychology thrown in to take care of any readers who resist the writer's argument, turning their doubts into proof of what the writer is saying.

It's a good article for the intended target audience, which I think is young men without established careers. For others, the article is not useful or will come off as too condescending, IMO.
