I admit I have not watched Zona play all season but the tricks they pulled yesterday, the spitting on the dirt like a bunch of redneck inbread women, and then having more props in the dugout than carrot top, I would say they are far from classy

I've watched them play in person since I was four. Family had season tickets for a few years as well. I think I know the Cats pretty damn well.

The props are silly. LSU has had props for years. The dirt thing was bad. Won't lie but everything else was not that big of a deal. So Wilson MAYBE tripped one of our girls. We blew her up today. It's even and over with.

The "LSU on three" was not disrespect...it's the opposite. AZ has always done that at the end of every regular season/post-season series. Chill out.

I'm fine...but why do they do it? Makes no sense...

I guess it's just a thing to get the girls prepared for the handshake line. Used to do it in little league too. Exact same thing.

don't know what the dirt thing was before the game but the Wildcats are NOT the c-word or anything close to it. They are usually the class of the pac-12.

If they are the class of the PAC-12, then that doesn't say much about that conference

Sorry, but the entire team forming a circle near home plate, drawing "LSU" in big letters in the dirt, then everyone spitting on it, then kicking dirt on top of "LSU", then stomping on it before the game is anything but class.

frick those counts. Geaux Cajuns

Chant the opponent's name after a victory? Every sport I've played and coached...you give a "Wildcats on 3" in that situation...

Always has been that way in my life in regard to saying the opponent's name. Almost a team "good job" thing.

Almost classy enough to be the class of the PAC-12

That makes no sense. If that were the case you'd say it to the other team and not in your own team huddle. It's a chant your latest victim name thing.

Which I don't really have much of a problem with but with that and the spitting, not anywhere near classy.

Give me a break. The shite they say about LSU softball is way worse than spitting on LSU drawn in dirt.

Yep. And if it were a "good job" thing...they wouldn't be writing their opponent's name in the dirt, spitting on it, and then jumping on it...

I can't believe I'm still discussing softball...

I don't need to defend Arizona. They are a great program whether you like it or not. Proud of my LSU tigers for giving them a great fight. Time to watch ASU go down and enjoy this wonderful night for my family's other school.

No one's debating that. They just behaved like pieces of shite and you're very much defending that.

I am really proud of the Lady Tigers. They played the number one ranked schedule in the country and did very well.

I really need to go to some softball games next season. Congratulations on a very good season !

me either, it is a ball.

Serious question, I am an idiot regarding softball. Why did Torina leave the pitcher I sooooo long. Obviously she didn't have it, why would she not pull her in favor of the girl who pitched yesterday? I admittedly don't know softball strategy, but seemed obvious she was getting hammered out there.
