OK Jones then name me the draw that would bring tourists into the city? The ZOO? The WW2 Museum? There are those all over the country that are better. The food? NY, Chicago, San Fran etc.. all have better. What would bring people there? The Saints? Locals are fans not tourists.

I'm just saying that everytime a tourist compliments their time there, which was of course in the quarter, they get blasted by locals like "and he didn't even see the REAL NOLA"!! blah blah. Well I can tell you he probably didnt want to go eat at a little shithole like Guys to eat an overpriced overcooked shrimp poboy in a filthy little hole in the wall. They come there to party on Bourbon Street. That why the tourism bureau has the Quarter on EVERY commercial made. Taking that away would be like moving Gulf Shores and Destin north by 50 miles. How would those places fare if that were the case? People go to places because of the main attraction and in NOLA's case it's the Quarter.
