"As we talk about the fan experience, which is very important, I think there may come a day that we may sell beer at college events at LSU," Alleva said when asked about the possibility. "I think at some point — I don't know if it will be five years from now, 10 years from now — but I think at some point, I think it's going to happen."

this is why I love going to tigue moore field to enjoy a game. the beer is ice cold.

There were beer vendors on North Stadium Dr before the Spring Game. I hadn't seen that before, and the vendor said they'd be doing it in the fall. Isn't that new? A small step in that direction.

It will take A LOT to convince the LSU Administration to get on board. Maybe the Athletic Department has a bit of leverage because of the "donations" it makes to the academic end every year, but LSU has been trying desperately to remove itself from the "party school" label ever since the Ben Winn incident in the late 90's. Anyone that went to LSU from then until now knows this.

And obviously nothing happens until the SEC changes its stance.
