I appreciate Sigur Ros, but it's like not something that I'm driving around and I'm like "frick yea, I'm gonna jam some Sigur Ros right now"

That phrase has never been uttered by anyone, ever

I jam Sigur Ros while driving around all the time. My kids love them.

This is probably the best song I've ever seen played live. They closed both shows I saw them do with it, and it blew my mind both times. First time I just sat there in stunned silence for a good 5 minutes afterwards trying to figure out what I just witnessed.

I can't think of anyone that is Beatles worthy,(someone that is hugely popular across all genres) 5 years ago I would of said Cold Play, but whatever happened to them? I would agree with JT or Taylor swift, Eminem, Lady gaga, black eyed peas, none are really bands though. All are an embarrassment being compared to the Beatles. It will never be the same, the most popular music seems to be driven by 14-16 yo girls. Did everyone like the Beatles in their prime, Or were there a large group of people that said they were too pop, then in hindsight got more popular?
