Thinking about getting one for a bedroom tv. I assume they only pick up local channels? How about ESPN, TNT, TBS?

use this to see what's available in your area and how strong of antenna you need to pick it up.

Have you seen airbox.com

Just saw the commercial. Seems like a good way to go cable or satellite free

To watch HBO and Showtime you have to watch between the squiggly lines and hope you catch a glimpse of the occasional boob.

There is no such thing as an HD antenna....an antenna from 1984 will pick up HD channels just like one made in 2014

Don't work well at all in our attempted applications. I guess if you live in or near a major city they might be OK.

At one point I could catch ESPN HD through an antenna, but that quit working about 3 years ago

My ex has a $15 that works just as good as a $100 would. She lives in Southdowns though, and gets about 15 channels, all clearly. Also has a Roku 3

Depends on where your house is and where your tv is within your house. Antennae didn't work at all in any bedrooms but works good in my den. But hell no you aren't getting any good cable channels, you idiot.
