re: Building a shed

My HOA has the same requirements. We are supposed to go thru an architectural committee yada yada yada bullshite. However, our covenants have no fines or penalties at this point. Subdivision is less then 5 years old. So I said F it and built me a shed with wood and a tin roof. GOt a nasty letter to attend the next HOA meeting. Showed up and had the President attempt to make an example of me. I politely asked what was the fine or penalty and please show me in the covenants where it is spelled out. He couldn't and then went on a tirade how we need to address having penalites. F HOAs. Im moving soon as I find 10 acres somewhere I like.
