I really don't like the picks today.

Injuries have ravaged us year after year, why waste depth picks on people with HUGE injury concerns?

im not sure how this goes to anything i said. nothing is wrong with developing players. a lot of people (myself included) just arent excited for these guys potential. obviously we all want things to work out at every pick. these just leave bigger question marks than most.

Statements like this make me really scratch my head

Yes they had injuries but those were 2 years ago and they're young. It's not like they've lost all of their talent.

Who's to say a guy that's been "durable" in school will be injury-prone in the pros?

It's dumb pessimestic thinking imo

We are stocked a starters and backups for the most part

Why not roll the dice and try and hit the proverbial HR?

I'm not totally excited as I liked some guys better than the ones we took... But I'm not going to pretend I know the team needs better than the FO

There are players that fans like every year that the team would never take for a number of reasons (scheme, bad lockerroom fit etc.).

For a person playing a contact sport, injury history is a pretty big deal...shows their body can't stand up to the rigors of football. Nothing personal against the player.

Grabbing one player in the 6th or 7th with injury concerns is one thing, but grabbing 3-4 players with them when you need healthy depth to load up for a SB run is another.

Obviously there are exceptions, but betting on 3 players with history not to get hurt is an issue.

We have enough depth

These guys are projects (Poland/Sunseri primarily) and would barely see PT anyway

I don't personally like him, but he was projected to go in the early to mid rounds. I only watched a few of his games, but he looked like a guy that would be drafted. I'm just curious.

So you're saying you love these picks today and did lots,of research on them? No other players you would've liked instead?

I'm ready for this to be over and them to GTFO.

Same people that'll be bitching after every game and not post any other time.

So we're required to blindly follow our front office and love every pick? Got it.
