Eh, I have used an X1 box before and it is an exercise in frustration. Partial or missed recordings, no way to extend a recording (you must record next show), freezes, etc. There is also no 30 second skip ahead. There is a 5 minute skip forward, 5 minute skip backward and a 15 second skip backward. You can program the 5 min skip ahead to be a 30 sec skip, but then the 5 min back button becomes a 15 sec back button, leaving you with 2 buttons with the same feature.
