As much as I want to move Gordon (and I do think it should be our primary focus) there are still ways to find positives about the alternatives. Moving Gordon isn't a given. It's a need, but we could possibly be stuck with him for another two years.
If he expires in 2016 alongside Ryno, we own their Bird rights. We can sign a free agent, then tack on Ryno's new salary and Gordon's $5 million/year to slide over the cap.
Gordon at $5-6 million could then act as a trading chip.
