I don't consider that strategy. That sounds like rules made up to give the dealer more power when he doesn't have any trump cards. No one else has the oppurtunity to build a hand of off cards to run the table when there aren't many trumps left. That's not strategy, that's the dealer getting an additional crutch.

It is strategy. And the deal goes around so every 4th time, you get that "crutch". Also, you have to count cards and pay attention to who plays what. It's a thinking man's game. It's not just "throw em out there and hope for the best."

What do you think about the dealer getting to bid last and look through the deck that is the perks of being dealer. You make those hands count because you have an advantage.

I play more aggressive if my partner or I am the dealer
