it does make you a better player though. for instance when I am dealer I keep all the off cards of one suit to expand the chances that I can drop the peed on someone unexpectedly. It creats a lot more possibilities.

I don't consider that strategy. That sounds like rules made up to give the dealer more power when he doesn't have any trump cards. No one else has the oppurtunity to build a hand of off cards to run the table when there aren't many trumps left. That's not strategy, that's the dealer getting an additional crutch.
