Could anyone tell me if $308 a month through USAA in Uptown NOLA sounds right?
My flood is awesome at $412 a year.

Flood is not written by private companies, but by the NFIP. National Flood Insurance Program.
No company can write a flood policy, but they can issue them through the gov't. Depending on your flood zone, your rate will change. I bet if you ask your neighbors, their's will be the exact same.
