Who has your Homeowners Insurance Policy?

Who do you have a policy with and what is your average price per month? Trying to price shop in Baton Rouge but want a good company.

just always shop it. you will hear people switching from here to there and saving money. most insurance companies do that then slowly push premium up.

independents are always a good option since they will always have multiple companies. state farm can get it low, but won't have another option for you.

typically i leave mine alone unless the premium jump is absurd.

State Farm. $3,800/yr. W/H deductible of 7%. This is with multiple policies (Home/Life/Auto/Articles/Umbrella). And it aint getting any lower. It's fricking expensive to live.

I've got my homeowners and auto with State Farm. I get a bundle discount. But to be honest, I didn't shop around when I went with them. My family's been with the same agent for decades and I just followed suit.

USAA, just over $1300 per year. 5 year old house and one claim.

House is insured for $295K, not counting land of course. 2 % deductibles.

Live south of I-10.

I shopped, ended up with Liberty Mutual, moving my vehicles from State Farm to LM too
