I would suggest going to a running store near you (Varsity Sports, Fleet Feet, etc.) to see what may work best for you depending on your needs (price, mileage, running goals) and your gait.

Henderson if you're in Lafayette, Geaux Run in the OIl Center, Tri-Running near Twin's, and LA Running Company (corner of Johnston and Emerite) are all good places to get fitted.
Personally I wear Brooks Glycerine and love them ... but you've got to try and make sure you're in the right type shoe.
