Should I call a stranger back?

If someone dialed the wrong number and called me on accident should I called them back or not? I listened to the message too

Stranger called me and left a message about a family member being in the hospital due to a heart condition or some sort.
Never called them back.

Of course I'd listen to the message. Whether I call them back depends on the content of the message.

and yes, based on their message, I'd call them back to let them know. I've done this a few times and the people were always grateful. also, i am a girl. so yeah.
