Have a friend who uses Bovada to play poker and make sports bets. Anyone have experience with this site? TIA

Had some with Bodog (which was switched to Bovada). Took forever for the pay out so I left - about 16-18 weeks. Haven't been back since

Bovada is ok, but their spreads come out late. Very, very late. If you're looking to jump on a pro football game on Sunday evening/Monday morning when everyone else is posting their lines, think again. I remember many spreads on Bovada not posting until as late as Friday or Saturday even.

+1 on 5dimes for sports betting. When I request a check payout, I have it within 2-3 days.

The online casinos are all rigged, including 5dimes.

I used bovada this past year for football and lines come out late (sat morning) and sometimes ..okay a lot of times there were no moneyline bets.

There were some games where it was +4-5 and the 'underdog' was the better team, but I had to take the points instead of ML because they didn't have it.

If you just wanted to mess around and you don't really care if you make any money then Bovada would be fine. If you actually want to succeed long term 5 dimes is the answer. Much better lines. More timely lines, etc.
