Well then they are using confusing terminology. If you say you'll take the 3, that generally means you'll take the underdog along with the 3 points they are getting.
If you want the favorite, you generally say something like "I'll lay the 3 against those slow, white, cheese-headed, brat-eating bastards."

Well saying "I'll take the 3" is very confusing if that's what they are trying to say. "Take the 3" means you will take the 3 points which means you would take the Wisconsin +3.

I was asking a serious question because I was going to wonder why they would think LSU isn't going to beat Wisconsin by more than a FG.

I agree. I think this will be pretty similar to TCU. Late TD to pull away from a somewhat close game in the fourth quarter. LSU by 7-10.

Is Wisconsin losing a lot for next season, or will it be an experienced team? Either way, they're usually a pretty tough out.
That seems like a safe bet to me. A couple of years ago, Boise would have beat the crap out of this Ole Miss team. I don't have a lot of faith in them without Petersen anymore.
