A lot of entry level jobs let employees work overtime. Depending on what the hourly rate is, it could be easy to pull in double what you make. Especially if the turn over rate is high. With this, it's very possible for the youth to pay the overwhleming student debt that is plaguing college level students. They have no idea about overtime laws and regulations.

Please tell your kids this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Salary employees are not required to get overtime. Some companies offer it and some do not. For example, I had two competing job offers for when I graduate. Both were salaried positions, but only one offered OT, and only during certain circumstances.
