I'm one of the guys who isn't a fan of war I just make sure to get my two attacks in, hopefully in a way that helps the team win and gets me some loot
I've farmed ever since I started playing so actually attackign for trophies is like culture shock for me. I have to figure out the attack patterns. For example, my wizards decided walk right past a town hall and the AA and focus on something else. Had they destroyed the TH and AA, the two healers would have kept them alive long enough to 3*.
Stuff like that pisses me off. The AI in the game is just flawed. It's one thing to circle around a base detroying defense or clearing stuff out of the way. It's quite another to to be firing at a town hall, then stop and focus on something else. Just leaves me saying WTF

- lure cc troops at the bottom right with barbs or 1 giant. then release barb or archer at top right builder hut to get cc troops away. kill cc troops.
- drop 1 archer at the other two builder huts to assure 3*
- drop all giants away from top right wall closest to ad, then WBs.
- you can use rage spell to quickly move the giants to the AD.
- release healer after AD is down.
- let giants clear some space then release archers in a wave along the same side the giants entered. save 5-10 archers
- after all mortars are down release last 5-10 archers at the bottom of the base to get the outlying walls.
Notes: Barbs and goblins could also be a good option since there are no walls to cross internally.
if want to use loons then take out AD with Giants. release all loons.

Can we clarify who is taking who? Develop a strategy. Know who you are attacking and then go.
It sucks when you gem troops and spells and strategize for a while to attack someone only to go and see someone already attacking it. I think that may waste some attacks in the future which could hurt us.

True. I go with an air attack so I'm looking for poor AD placement. On the second or third war someone attacked it with ground troops and 1*'d a guy I could have 3*'d. I usually call who I'm after in advance and most of the mids-uppers do also.

Yea I had a pretty solid strategy and made troops for one specific type of attack after looking at it for 20 min and waiting (we were making that last minute push yesterday) I gemmed and rushed it all. When I got back someone was attacking it. I then had to dump those and gem additional troops/spells on a rushed attack.

if anything you need to go on there before attacking and say you are taking that person. best we can do is call who we want to attack.

I think we need to come up with a general list of do's and dont's to post in the OP:
For example, if a TH is left on the outside, do not attack it for the 1* until you have confirmed no one else wants to try for 2/3*.
I also think for air based attacks, you should stick with air troops in your CC compared to ground troops and the opposite when doing ground based attacks. If you have mixed attack it isn't such a big deal what you have.

I would seriously consider the idea of merging the td clans, one for war, one for farming. Put me down for war, got so much elixer don't know what to do with it.

TD1 is very simple, either you are participating in wars or you are not and if you are not, you are getting kicked
