Thats how the OP has it worded. Or how my reading comprehension works.

Sounds like he is saying that 29 dominos will take out the Empire State building.

The idea that 29 regular dominoes can topple a sky scraper sized domino is so absurd, that I found it funny that someone actually called BS on it. Not to speak for anyone else.

Didn't he say it was 100 pounds or something?

He did. It's not like he had it tied around his neck and ran the Iditarod.

Yeah he definitely lost his breath a little too easily. But he's probably a science teacher. Doesnt look like he's done anything physically active in quite awhile.

True. Skeptical but open minded. I like that.

Not sure if he lost his breath because of the exertion or lost his breath from excitement over the experiment. Both are equally plausible IMO.

After like the first few you're not even talking about dominos, just really really large rectangles that can stand freely.

Not if all the volumetric proportions remain the same...it's just a larger domino.

Idk...there are some cardboard delivery boxes out there somewhere that I'm sure carry the same proportions on a larger scale of a standard domino. That doesn't mean it's a domino.

Yeah. That'd make it a box that's the same shape as a domino. Dominos are solids made of the same materials as each other. He probably used some quick-drying plaster to make each of these.

Or just one domino that's 2/3 the size of the Empire State Building.

I didn't watch the video so I didn't know that they were, literally, dominos just scaled for size. I just thought he built some big rectangles.

the next domino would weigh a bit more...if we knew the weight of the second-to-last domino we'd know how much the next after the 100 lb would weigh...right?

That wouldn't work. Boxes would have differing scaling up trends with volume and mass.
