7' m power/mod action for corks, topwaters for reds
7' ml power/mod action for trout top water
7' m/mh power/fast tip for jig heads/bottom fishing
Could go down to 6'6" on any of those but i like longer rods in saltwater for longer casts
Falcon hd 7' med/mod is a great all around inshore rod in both spinning or casting.
ETA: since youll be throwing braid, I really dont think you need a mh unless targetting reds specifically. People tend to over-power rods in general imo.

A good all around is a 7' medium, fast action rod. But I try to look for a few different. I like medium action rods to throw lighter baits. I also like a shorter (6'6") rods for my baitcasters when fishing smaller canals where I'm making a lot of short casts on the bank.
I don't get quite as into as bass fisherman do with a different rod for each type of bait. I'm not that advanced in my fishing techniques quite yet.
