The biggest returning key to our offense isn't the OL, Magee, or Hilliard

It's him.

Jaw cracking blocks, senior leadership, great hands out of the backfield, and never misses an assignment. #43 will be in full beast mode this season and I can't wait to watch him open holes again this season. We are lucky to have him back.

I love the kid, but no, he's not the biggest key. and he does miss assignments, or get blown up on blocks. but he's a good FB that I think will only get better this year.

He might not even start over Melvin.

I'd definitely put Collins ahead of him, but that doesn't diminish his value.

This thread is great.

Once you take away the O-line, Magee & Hilliard, Neighbors is basically the only returning player.

So, by default, you're probably right.

I don't know about biggest but, it is obvious that they like using him as a receiving threat and having a legit FB receiving threat can give defenses nightmares and enable the RBs to really get some space when they are handed the ball. If he is what I think he is as a full time FB, I anticipate big numbers for RBs who get to take advantage of frozen linebackers.

He's talented. But, no way in hell is he the most important piece coming back to this offense.

I know he's going to leave his guts out on the field on November 8.
I would love to see him score the winning TD running over Landon Collins....

He's as good as it gets at the college level FB position. He just has the knack for making good contact and opening holes. Not sure I would call him THE KEY but he is as key as anyone returning especially since it sounds like we are going to be relying more on the running game. With the o-line we have returning, and Neighbors leading the way for Fournette, the running game is going to be hard to stop.
