If passed, how many big name prospects go to Europe instead of enrolling in college?
There was talk of this when high schoolers were prohibited from jumping straight to the NBA. Sadly many of these kids could care less about getting a degree, so forcing them to attend college might just get some of them to go make money overseas for a few years then return home.

That's what's going to happen. The NBA is using the college game as an evaluation league for potential players. Taking these kids directly out of high school is too risky and a bust could cost them big money. Better to have them play a year or two of college ball to see how they develop before making a decision to draft them or not. They'll do the same with the kids who go to Europe since the NBA and not some German league is the dream for these kids.
