The land is above the base flood elevation. Flood ins is required but it isn't alot bc we are above base flood. So the houses should be fine unless a catastrophic flood occurs but you are right, might need a boat to get out. Lol.
Yeah you might save 15-20% doing it yourself but I value my health and marriage more. Lol
