Calling Brady injury prone is a bit of a stretch.

I agree though that being drafted by the pats would be a great opportunity for Mett to learn from some of the best in the business.

A better place for him though is Arizona with Arians and an aging Carson Palmer.

Yeah, i should have said i think he's prone to injury at this point in his career. He's getting up there in age. But for whatever reason, the Patriots are looking heavily at every QB in the draft, accourding to the article.

I get it, gang up on the guy with little post experiance. That's fine. I do remember Brady getting injured before the championship game in his first productive season also. No biggie man if you wanna have the last word, it's all yours. Happy Easter!

So an ankle injury that kept him out of 1 game 13 years ago

And a knee injury that happened 6-7 years ago

Gosh, he just cant stay on the field can he

They are looking at QBs because Mallet is going to walk next season in FA.

"The Patriots might be thinking now about what they’ll do at quarterback when Tom Brady retires. Or they could be trying to light a fire under Brady. Or they could be trying to pick the brains of as many quarterbacks as they can, as offensive schemes increasingly migrate from college to the NFL. Whatever the reasons, by the time of the draft in three weeks, it appears that the Patriots will have talked to just about every available quarterback."

Maybe NBC sports should have called you for your opinion wildtiger.

Why the hell would they need to light a fire under brady? thats the dumbest thing ive ever heard this side of "Brady is injury prone"

The Pats are looking at a new backup QB because they have no QBs on the roster signed past this season besides Brady. End of story. They draft a mid round QB every couple of years to develop

What sources did nbc cite there? None. They just threw shite guesses against the wall to drum up interest. Welcome to todays media.

Neither has sources. Im not claiming to have sources.

You posting an nbc writers outlandish guesses into why the Pats are working out QBs does not prove any point, its just another opinion.

The difference my opinion and his is, im not trying to create drama in order to raise interest in what im writing. Im just using common sense and logic based on the available information.

And this isnt a blog

Sorry, "thread". Look man, I'm just saying I wouldn't mind if Mett went to New England. Clearly, you would mind. I saw the article on Yahoo and wanted to post it. Next time i'lll ask for your approval before i post one.
Are there better destinations for Mett, sure. Are there worse destinations, sure. I think I can concede that Brady is not injury prone, but he is not going to last forever. I think playing for one of the best coaches in NFL history who helped develop one of the best QBs in history to me would be good for him. This was fun, though.

i never said he was a bad fit in New England

I only disagreed with you about Bradys injuries and the Pats motives for looking at QBs.

Oh, we'll thanks for clearing that up. I guess we're in agreement. But you're not interested in agreeing are you? God forbid you would post what you agree with. That doesn't draw enough attention. Thanks for helping me get my post numbers up.

Fair enough but Rodgers beat out Favre because he was better.

Favre retired then wanted to come back and the pats had already moved on.

Its not like he beat him out in open camp

Stahp being so mean on the new guys. Make sure to not point out the fact Brady is signed until he's 40 or the fact he was still good enough to drag a piss poor receiving corps one game away from the Super Bowl.
