I think in obvious passing situations, maybe Long would slide over and rush from up the middle?

I don't know. But you're right they aren't hurting at anywhere on the D-line really. I would understand if they picked Clowney based off of talent alone but I don't know if I'd agree with the pick.

i'd go O-line though.

Bradford has only played 2 full seasons out of the 4 years he's been at STL. He isn't all that bad to me but I think you add more insurance on the O-line to help him against those tough defenses in that division.

they could always pick another QB later on the draft as kind of a backup plan and see what happens. Why not? You've got a ton of picks.

or what about taking Ebron at like say pick #13? frick, I don't know.

I could see them taking Robinson at #2 and then possibly Ha-Ha, Gilbert (if still in the spot), Pryor

Two scenarios for them IMO

1. Houston takes Clowney. this is the most likely.

No one will have any reason to trade up all the way to #2 for any other player. They'll take a tackle. I'm leaning more Matthews than Robinson.. Matthews is more polished and a better pass blocked. They have to protect Bradford

2. Houston takes a QB. I doubt this happens but if it somehow does...

STL will trade the pick. Everyone likes Atlanta but I feel like there could be a few other teams interested. After they trade they'll look to shore up their OL with Matthews, Robinson or Lewan depending where they jump back to. If they don't have a pick prior to their #13, I think they'll go safety. An aggressive guy like Clinton-Dix could be great with their front 7 causing havoc for QBs in front of him.

I don't really see any scenario where they take Clowney. He would be an amazing add but they could do so much more and become better at multiple positions both now and in the future if they rob a team who really wants and needs him.

Wouldn't surprise me to see Oakland jump to grab Clowney if he is on the board. I mean McKenzie and Allen need to do something and Clowney would signify that they are bold and willing to make a move.

They have Antonio Smith and Justin Tuck who they signed this year but Clowney may be able to push them into rotational duties only.

Clowney isnt falling. Locked into #1. If he does fall to #2, the Rams will trade back still in the top 10. Draft the top OT available.

But, I dont see Clowney falling due to the fact that the Texans need a QB and there isnt a QB there worth the #1 pick. They could trade back, but the team they trade with will take him #1.

They take Robinson at #2. Could trade their 13th pick because Fisher does like to accumulate a lot of picks and what not. If they dont, I could see them taking a WR or HaHa Clinton Dix / Dennard.
