Now whether he puts up more catches with a full season of games is another story.

That's the thing. 10 career catches isn't put it all together to me. It's potentially a fluke. I'm pretty sure there are lots of nobodies with 10 catches. Not quite another AA but maybe a Casillas.

This. Yes the yards per catch were off the charts in 2012 for Morgan but he is still very far from "putting it all together".

Plus I would be very cautious about projecting numbers for a player who was missed 34 out of 48 games in his career. Some players have extremely bad luck when it comes to injuries & Morgan seems to be one those with that dark cloud hanging over his head.

Have you seen his hands? I mean shite out of those 10 catches he had to either turn his body around or dive down to get it.

This kid is gonna be dangerous

As was said above your post, the reason why he never puts it together could have nothing to do with ability. He can't catch too many passes standing on the sideline.

I don't see him doing that much...

If Graham is back I see it playing out like this:

Graham: 94 and 1,400 and 14
Colston: 70 and 900 and 6
Stills: 60 and 1,000 and 11
Morgan: 30 and 550 and 4

Morgan doesn't fit this offense. The days of Drew hitting a fast WR (Henderson) are far gone. When is the last time you saw Drew hit a fast running receiver in stride???? Drew needs route runners, tall and tough across the middle receivers.

I am not sure he is even a guarantee to make the team. Let's see how the preseason plays out.

The inability of being able to get receivers behind a defense more often has plenty to do with outside receivers not being able to get good releases from press coverage.

It also has to do the ineffectiveness in the running game. Under Sean Payton, many of the offense's deep shot plays come out of run formation looks with a single receiver deep route. Not being able to consistently run the ball, takes away from being able to sell play action to an opposing defense.
