Get up/down to Memphis or where ever the Redbirds are playing. They might have one of the best OF in many years in AAA.

I've been to zephyr field and the old Charlotte knights field in Ft. Mill, SC. Can't wait to check out the new downtown stadium for the charlotte knights this year.
Probably the most fun experience is the Gastonia Grizzlies. Basically a lower level cape cod league (college players playing ball after the season) with cheap booze and great seats.

we go to gateway grizzlie games, independant team across the river in illanoy.
seats are cheap, beer and food reasonable, and they have the krispy kreme bacon cheeseburger. believe they invented it.

I will say the quality of play suffers quite a bit from MLB to single A.

It hasnt been maintained all that well, but like most minor league parks, there isn't a bad seat in the house. Plus......thirsty thursday. I'd watch a ballgame in a volcano for that

I am torn about the braves minor leagues using the braves team name and unis. I like that we are having unity in "braves" teams where everyone knows what MLB team they are tied to. I don'tike that our players are wearing the jerseys they would if the make it to the show. I am watching 1A guys wearing replica's of the ATL braves home uni. No difference from the stands.
