I think 10 wins in asking alot of this team at this point. I'll be ok with 9-4, if they beat the gumps.

I understand our QBS will be green but our competition is in the same situation - Bama and TXAM. How can you say we're fricked?

Since nobody else said it, I will:

We will not lose to Wisconsin.
We will not lose to Ole Piss.

The offense won't be as good, but I expect the d to be better. If for nothing else other than the dbs. Two most experienced players were mills and Loston going into last season. You only lose one, so the secondary will be vastly improved making the rest of the d better.

On offense we need to control the clock and limit turnovers, we've done it before. No reason to think we won't get to 10 wins again.

We have won in the past with a one dimensional offense and might do it again this year. Yes, our QBs are really untested but we won't know what happens until they play the games. Teams have won with freshmen QBs so it is possible.

I do not think it is a rebuilding year. Rebuilding to me says we lose 4 games or more and I don't see that happening. If our WRs give minimal support to the run game the offense will be ok.

Our secondary should be better as well as the D-Line. We have guys with experience who seemed to gel later last year.

This for gods sake! I hate that term "rebuilding." Its a chicken schit way of hedging your bet before the season in case you do crap the bed and don't win as many games as predicted.
Top teams reload and carry on.

We had our "rebuild" year last year on defense. Other than QB and WR their is no rebuilding going on anywhere. I was never a Ego or Freak fan and think we will be better at DL overall this year than last.
We may be too young at QB to get thru the gauntlet unbeaten, which is the biggest concern. If Cam can develop one of these QB's look out. This bunch and coaches are very hungry and 2014 could turn out quite special. Dural is a stud and if Fournette is as advertised it will only be the QB position holding back this hungry bunch of players and coaches.

For the record I think we can win every game, but I expect us to lose 2-4 because all signs point to 2014 being more significant for the development of underclassmen for our real run at a championship next year.
I agree. The defensive line will get pushed around ALOT, and the offense will be young and talented but full of errors.

LSU IS 143-40 since 2000 which is 2nd only to Okla. We are 84-34 in the SEC which is the #1 conference record for that same period. We have 4 SEC titles, 6 west titles, 3 BCSCG appearances, and 2 BCS titles.

If that's not "dynasty" material or down right "dynasty" run for a 13 yr period, then I don't know what would be for the same period.
