Which makes him a good safety. What makes you think he could line up over a slot receiver and play on him like KV and TM7 do a large % of the time?
If he could play this role, wouldn't he have done it when KV went down with injury? Especially in the Eagles game after Lewis went down
KV played every snap on defense. Even after KV went down, Bush still wasn't an every down player
70% of the snaps vs. Eagles
55% of snaps vs. SEA
Looking it up, his snaps actually went down as the year went along

not exactly, cause that leaves us with Jenkins and Harper playing deep.

He was dealing with an ankle later in the year.

2013 - 77 missed tackles in 18 games
2012 - 128 missed tackles in 16 games
We got rid of Jenkins who missed 16 of those and replaced him with Byrd who missed 22 combined in his 5 year career
