Zamorano was screwed out of two opportunities, but he played in 1998. Alex de Souza is the only other Brazilian who I can make a case for. He was the first man left off in 2006, while Ricardinho was chosen.

also, you arent gonna convince me that people left off of world cup rosters are better than someone like gareth bale and george best who played for countries that never made it.
