About 6-8 fresh peaches (frozen is 2nd best, then canned)
1/2 - 3/4 cup sugar
pinch of cinnamon
2tsp flour
Box of 2 premade (not precooked- the ones that are still rolled up)
-mix all dry ingredients with peaches and dump into 9x13 pan
-Cover with both pie crusts- there will be some overlap in the middle
-Pinch the edges down tight
-Bake in a 325 oven for 45 minutes
This isn't the exact recipe that we use, but I think it's pretty close. Very easy, and really tasty.
I've done this with blueberries, too, and it's even better

Thanks!
Never thought of using frozen peaches.
Great idea.

I do something similar but in a pie plate. I put one sheet of the rolled pie crust in the bottom and I usually do the latice work crust on the top with two more crusts, but you can just put the other rolled up sheet over the top, give it a trim around the sides and crimp. Remember not to trim too much, though, because pie crust shrinks when it cooks. brush the top crust with egg wash and then cut some slits around and a circle out of the middle so the steam will come out.
I don't like baking, but this recipe with fresh fruit makes an excellent pie. I use cornstarch rather than flour. I'm sure there's a similar recipe on google if you search the ingredients using pie crust + peaches + cornstarch + sugar + butter pie recipe. I put dots of butter all over the top of the fruit before the top crust goes on.
This is so easy.
