I disagree. I believe it to be of great necessity. We currently have Lewis and 1 gerry, 1 bust, and 1 maybe. Now all three of those have the potential to turn in a good season, but at a position of high importance it is imperative to have 3 quality starters, especially given the structure of the league currently

I want to be clear that I don't think we should trade up for anyone, but if we were then the only position should be a CB

I think the coaching staff would argue that they do with Keenan, Champ, and White. Prob's play would be a bonus if he bounces back, if not he's a solid #4 guy. They are going to draft a CB, its just a matter of when.

there's not many guys in the draft I view worth giving up a fortune for.

There is no ugh for getting Gilbert to me.
Would make throwing on us EXTREMLY difficult and pushing opponents to run on us.
And this is where Lofton Hawthorne Jenkins and Bunk excel.

Nothing would surprise me when it concerns CSP drafting.

Gilbert isn't falling. Corner back stock is at an all time high and this dude is a stud. He won't fall past 15

I think he is a top 10 talent and I would put the chance of him falling at 5%. McShay mocking him at 25 just has me wondering if he knows something.

I agree. Gilbert walks in and is our 2nd best CB, with the possibility of being better than Lewis very quickly. We can't get complacent with the guys behind Lewis IMO. I see Gilbert as the one guy we could trade up for. He is legit.

Right, look at Julio Jones. He is damn good, but you gave up 5 other guys to get just that one. Not worth it imo, and you can see what it did to their depth(especially because they always think they are one or two players away so they only sign one or two big FAs).

Now if we are talking 2 for 1 picks, that could be worth it, but Gilbert would have to fall pretty far.
