Piranha nada i used to have a bunch in college and a lot of cichlids would run them all over the tanks. Scared to death of my little green terror, but so was everything else

Goggle-eye by a mile, pound for pound. will outlive any fish on stringer and usually have the best spots on lake/ponds. mean little critters.

Snakehead fish. Live mostly in Florida and I believe Georgia. Extremely mean fish. They eat everything from shrimp to mice to largemouth. Illegal to bring over state lines alive because they will destroy fish populations if released.

Illegal to posess alive in Arkansas. I agree with you, they are some bad MF.

I'm guessing chopique are what we call grinnel, mudfish, bowfin here in Ga/SC.
If so, you are dead right. Mean MF's. Had one take a 3/4 ounce Roland Martin heavy wire spinnerbait and turn it into a pretzel once upon a time down in Fla. SOB was 10-15 lb range. Thought it was a log on the bottom till it moved towards my spinnerbait as it came by.
I couldn't have hardly done that much damage to the sb if I had tried with pliers...damn sure not in the few seconds I had him on.
Wish I had taken a pic of that lure, or what was left of it, after what he did to it...just unreal.
A close second goes to warmouth. (Goggle-eye in La?)

Agree
Fun as hell to catch. I've caught some on bait that was almost the same size as them. Fearless little boogers!

The mako come in this time of year following the cobia run down the coast. There are always a few caught this time of year in Orange Beach, PCola, Destination etc. It is more published nowadays , especially with all the cobia tournaments that have been started recently. I think this past weekend was the "crab cruncher" .

Don't know about a 500 lb Mako, but I can tell you this, a 500 lb bluegill would be a bad mofo

A 500 pound snakehead would be terrifying. Look them up on YouTube. They are the most aggressive fish.

A 500 pound snakehead or Piranha would destroy a 500lb mako
