This is why the Soccer Board is the best board 90% of the time. Thanks for all the answers

Fabian sorta stuck out. I do love some Bradley though, just never been one to just go for the best players. I want someone who will probably be in the next World Cup as well

It honestly depends what you are looking for. If you want a top player who has a present and a future on the team, then Bradley is a great choice, especially if this is your first USMNT jersey.

However, if you are like Sheep and have all the jerseys, then you can go for something like Fabian Johnson or Graham Zusi.

The smart money is to pick either your favorite or Bradley (which are probably the same).

I would go with Johannsson, but that's just me. In fact, I need to get one of those sometime soon.

Yea, that's my conundrum. It's my first jersey and I probably should get Bradley, and I do love him...but I've always loved the flashy, maybe a bit more of the under the radar players. I'm actually sort of leaning towards Fabian right now. But like I said, I still have a few weeks until I make the final decision

For US jerseys, I try not to get jerseys that EVERYONE will have.

That said, I still need a Bradley and Donovan US jersey. There's something to be said for doing it either way.

I think Fab is a fine choice, FWIW.

I just got this jersey in the mail today. I'm thinking about Fab for it. Or Alan Gordon.

Yeah - I've got the navy with white sash coming as well. I think I'm going to put Bradley on that one. He was a terror in that Slovenia game when we wore those.

I need to get another white jersey from the 2010 WC for a Donovan jersey.

I'm struggling to find a standout game/performance from the 2012/2013 navy jerseys, that's why I brought up Gordon.

Maybe Timmy Chandler in Honduras?

Well this officially sent me over the top for Fab...you are the all-knowing of jerseys

Also, where do you get your jerseys from? Then you just bring it somewhere for the numbers?

I got Donovan because I didn't already have one and I knew this was my last show. Otherwise I would have likely gotten Bradly.

And I love it in person.

My first USA jersey was Johnathan Spector. One of the oddest choices in the history of first soccer jerseys ever.

I am a very, very big James Bond fan though and the evil organization that was trying to take over the world in the first few installments of the series was called SPECTRE and I thought it would be awesome to have a jersey with the name (albeit spelled wrong) on my Jersey. Plus at the time he was at least USA roster worthy on RB.

But I also have a Donovan, Dempsey, Guzan (AVFC), and Lichaj (AVFC) jersey. All played English Soccer. Would like my next one to be an MLS player. We shall see.

When you have a few, it tends to become more about opening up your options. I would normally go Bradley or Deuce on a shirt, but on my limited edition Centennial shirt, I didn't get a player put of because I felt like it was better off that way. Not to mention, once you have Bradley shirts from a plethora of squads, Fabian Johnson starts looking pretty appealing.

Everywhere. eBay, if there are enough good pictures to determine if it's legit.

EPL clubs start blowing merchandise out in January-February every year. I've bought two Donovan jerseys and a Howard GK jersey from Everton, and each was less than $35 delivered.

Other than that, I keep up with all the "regular" sites (soccer.com, fanatics.com, mlsgear.com, etc) and will purchase something when it's 40+% off.

I try to pick a player that represents that era most and played really well in that particular jersey.

That's why I'm having trouble with the away kit for the last cycle. Just about everyone played like hot garbage on the road.
