He does not.

He does however hate people who think their religion entitles them special license to attack science. His discussion about Abu Hamid al-Ghazali and the death of science in the muslim world centuries ago makes his motivations on this subject pretty clear. He believes that if you allow fundamentalists to destroy education and learning eventually you end up with a terrible society like what we've seen in the muslim world for the last 8 plus centuries.
