I bet they are fired up at UL to have Petrino back. I doubt Allen ends up out of state though

No they wont.

Southeastern is better than Tulane at every position and will beat them by double digits.

What do you guys have? 8-10 legit D-1 transfers?

Well no shite they're supposed to be good.

I'm going to go make sure my water is still wet.

Briggs isn't eligible to play this year though

How is that? He transferred from a FBS school to an FCS school..? He should be able to play automatically?

Briggs has only one year of eligibility left and must have two order to transfer from FBS to FCS without sitting out a year. Only other way would be for graduate school or a hardship waiver. Not sure those apply to him.

That's ridiculous.
If will say that scheduling Southeastern was yet another stupid and lazy move by Tulane's AD. If you are going to play a FCS, for goodness sakes play a bad one. I doubt we lose, but we need a tune-up game and this is definitely no tune-up.

Whenever they do, they instantly lose their main competitive advantage. (D1 transfers being eligible without sitting out)

As much as people want to give all the credit to D-1 transfers for the Lions recent success their are several guys on this team that can flat out play that most likely didn't sniff a D-1 offer. There is no doubt Harlan Miller as well as a few other players that are not transfers that would start or play significant snaps for any school in the state and a lot of good D-1 programs. There is a lot of local home grown talent on this team.

Wouldn't make sense to me for Allen to go to SLU when he can play immediately in FBS. Unless there's a graduate program that Southeastern has that he wants to do.

Makes no sense. He could go to any FBS school not on LSU's schedule. I'll ask his cousins tomorrow and see if I can find out.
