I watched a good bit yesterday nursing a pretty terrible hangover. A few notes since I watched for most of the day:
- Warpaint was pretty awesome. Their bassist is a complete fricking smokeshow, and they actually play some pretty cool post-punk kinda stuff. They rocked out pretty hard for a chick group.
- I'm still sort of confused by Future Islands, but I'm on the "actually that guy is pretty fricking cool" side of the fence now. When he sounds like Bryan Ferry he's awesome. He needs to give the strange growling thing a rest though. And dude can fricking dance his arse off.
- Fatboy Slim just sounded like all the other shitty DJs have. A shame.
- The end of the Capital Cities set was some pretty high energy shite. I didn't watch most of the set because Future Islands was pretty awesome, but jeez. That crowd was going nuts.
- I sort of enjoyed the 5 minutes of the Lorde set that I watched. I know, kms.
- Ty Segall fricking rocks out hard
- It was werid seeing some brunette chick on stage with the Pixies that wasn't Kim Deal. They were pretty good though.
- The lead singer from Cage the Elephant went nuts. Running around, crowd surfed like 100 yards, climbed on top of the soundboard. And it wasn't cheesy, it was actually pretty fricking rock and roll. The band itself, meh, ok I guess, but the lead guy was going crazy. Pretty cool.
- MGMT does nothing for me anymore
- Temples was alright. I like their album more than actually seeing them live.

A few more cause I dunno why not:
- Foxygen's lead singer is the biggest douche I've ever seen. Like hey frick head, yall came out with one halfway decent 60's Kinks/Zombies rip off album, you can't parade around the stage like some limp wristed Jim Morrison and flip the crowd off and shite. You're a douche, and there was visible tension on stage that the rest of the band was not feeling your bullshite. Hey Foxygen, I liked that one album, but ditch that awful douche. He's terrible.
- I guess don't "get" CHVRCHES. Just generic chick electro-pop that has been repackaged about 10000 times since 2000. big time meh
- I passed out before Nas went on but I heard it was pretty good.

Well he's definitely on dude's wieners in his mouth
And if that was LSD, the dude's a fricking lightweight. No drug should make you be that big of an a-hole on stage. It's on the stream right now actually, channel 3. Check it out, it's fricking terrible. Dude ruins the whole set.
