I gotta give Coachella some cred. It really is the best festival in the US.
I guess it lacks in shitty jambland stuff and has a pretty heavy indie lean to it, but it has a shite ton of variety and gets a lot of biggest and best acts in the world. Bonnaroo is close but Coachella seems to be a little bit better.

Those are definitely the top 2. Bonnaroo has the epic late nights, and the years I went (06,07,09) they still had a jam-centric vibe. I've never been to Coachella but would like to make it one year. The Polo Grounds look like a much better venue than the farm.

Bonnaroo started getting really shitty after 09. 06 was pretty incredible. So you're parents let you go to bonnaroo in high school two years in a row?

My buddies that went to Fest 8 said Indio was pretty awesome. And it wouldn't be like 98 degrees with 90 percent humidity the whole weekend, which would be nice.

what the frick is with this shitty Europe house shite taking over fests lately. I seriously can't distinguish any of these djs from the other one in the slightest. It's the same exact fricking song over and over again. And I enjoy electronic music.
when did this shite become the biggest thing in the world to 19 year old scensters? this shite was considered cheesy as frick when I was 18, and that wasn't all that long ago. no one listened to fricking gay arse Euro house music. just weird.

Yeah mon, it was pretty crazy
For 06 I was only 17 and a junior in high school and had no idea what the hell I was getting myself into. I had been to Jazz Fest since I was a kid and a few other shows but that was it. Talk about culture shock. I went for Radiohead and left with a complete new appreciation for live music. Really an eye-opener. 07 I had just graduated high school and it was our senior trip

No that radiohead show was fricking awesome, just blue light the whole time. There live show has definitely evolved from what it was then.
