Don't they have more serious matters to tend to than trying to get a 19-year old another year of eligibility to play football for Episcopal?
Sure the kid has a sad story but there's a lot of sad stories out there- so why bend the rules for him? What makes this kid any more special than my neighbor's kid who is in the same situation?

Why have rules if you're not going to enforce them consistently.

This isn't a case of recruiting or moving that is convoluted, this is a hard-line age limit rule. Very cut and dry.

Considering that the LHSAA is a quasi-government institution that oversees millions of dollars of state tax money annually and retains control over the athletic departments of over 300 Louisiana public schools, this is absolutely the concern of the Louisiana legislature.

Id rather they spend time on non-binding resolutions than looking for something to fix just because.
