I actually like him too but their O-line is a mess.

Hell no, I wouldn't consider him a breakout player anyway after his performances in their playoff run season. He's got no knees left and has constant hand injuries.

How is Gio considered a breakout player? He was a top 10 fantasy back last year
Posted on 4/10/14 at 7:54 am to LSU-MNCBABY
Gio wasn't a starter if you want to make that case. He's not a stud, so breakout as in 1st to 2nd round (he's 3rd-4th round)running back next season maybe in a 10-12 team league.

QB - Bradford(if they get Sammy and some protection and he can stay healthy) / JFF (based purely on upside, could be a total flop)
RB - Gio / J. Hill (rookie RB is too hard to pick before they're drafted, but I feel he has the best makeup for n NFL career)
WR - Deandre Hopkins (again it depends on who the Texans draft at QB) / Odell Beckham Jr. (pure playmaker. Will also get you a couple return TDs)
TE - Ladarius Green (Cajun fans aren't surprised by his 'sudden' emergence. His a physical freak and seems he's finally gonna be able to put it all together and get playing time.) / Whichever rookie TE the Patriots draft (probably Amaro or ASJ)

ya, and he only had 170 carries and ~700 yards...I think those will go up a lot

Former NFL Personnel man Gil Brandt says Aaron Dobson has "some special stuff about him." Brandt notes that Dobson "has the quickness to beat press coverage and an ability to make some spectacular catches, despite having relatively small hands." We started to see some of that shine through in the middle of last season as he averaged 4.5 catches for 71.7 yards with three touchdowns between Weeks 6 and 9. Then a stress fracture in Dobson's left foot crippled him and led to March surgery. If healthy, he'll be a breakout candidate as a projected starter at the "X" spot.
Bra bra bra breakouttttt

Think a lot of people are also over projecting hill at the next level, LSU runs a lot of full back sets, the nfl has a lot more single back sets, will be interesting to see how hill adapts to not having a fb lead the way

I dont think that will matter at all.
Hes got amazing field vision and can read any block

Yea I agree with you Lester. Turbin is more of an every down back than Michael is IMO. Hes shorter and stocky, but is also faster.
Plus, I think Michael is better suited as a #2 IMO. He has always been loaded with talent. Hes a little more shifty than he is a bruiser and has that home run threat. And, hes had some majory injuries in college.
And Gio Bernard was a borderline top 10 RB last year and was a must start guy. He wont be surprising anyone next year.
And LSUMNC, the reason I said Hill is because out of all the top RBs for the draft, hes the top workhorse type RB. I think Tre Mason is a great pro. But I see him being used similar to how Gio Bernard was used last year. Split carries, not a prototypical goal line RB in the NFL. Hill will get the goal line carries, which will give him more points.

I do like Khiry Robinson, Robert Woods, and Austin. And I think Kenny Britt has a good year as well.

He was 20-15th at best least depending on your league. Danny Woodhead was right there with him in points in fantasy. But a top 10 finish would make a case for a breakout season. I'm a fan of Bell instead who was a couple spots ahead of him in the top 15.

He's never had double digit TDs or 1000 yards receiving plus has legal and injury issues every season. Averages less than 5 TDs a season. STAY AWAY. Please make a case why I'm wrong here.

Personally, I've given up all hope.

Britt is a guy you can draft in the last round and if he stays healthy he can yield top 10 WR numbers
Make a case why you're wrong? Obviously his accumulated numbers aren't there. He's had huge games as the only pass catcher in a shite offense. He's very talented. STL will have other options to alleviate all the pressure to be a 1. Back w Fischer.
If you draft him as a 1 or 2 you're doing it wrong. Low risk high reward. I look at a breakout player as someone who has never done anything who bursts onto the scene. That's Britt. Not these other guys who were good last season

I don't think Seattle has a favorite between the 2 RBs. Crapshoot.
I think they will ride Lynch until the wheels fall off. But I think Michel and Turbin are both very similar in running style to Lynch and if one were to emerge he would be valuable. RB is so vital to SEA's success that I think they stocked up on guys who are workhorses like Lynch in case they need to plug and play.
